Explore Biodiversity & Environmental Restoration in the Amazon Rainforest
Immersed in the beautiful biodiversity and culture of Ecuador, students gain hands-on experience in environmental science and ecosystem restoration while learning about the role of bioindustry and culture in the Amazon rainforest.

Dates: Spring Break (March 14-22, 2026)

Location: Tena, Napo province and the gateway to the Amazon

Cost: $3650 (includes roundtrip flights, lodging, food, transportation and project costs.)

Program Details: This 8 days of immersive, experiential learning will cover topics related to environmental design, sustainable architecture and engineering, wildlife conservation, biological diversity, agroforestry, social and environmental impact and enterprises, natural resource management and more. You will learn from local field experts and be surrounded by the biodiversity and beauty of natural, native Ecuador which RFI is working to protect, regenerate, and preserve.

Other details: Flights are in/out of Quito International Airport (UIO). Tena is a 3.5 hour drive from Quito International Airport.
