Lead a campus community into regenerative fieldwork in Ecuador.

Become RFI's student leader and research-collaboration facilitator at your university. Build relationships across campus and lead a group into an immersive program in Ecuador.

Eligible: Undergraduate students at any US University.

ROLE • WHAT YOU WILL LEAD

01— Research & collaboration

Build relationships with professors, researchers, advisors, and student leaders. Share relevant RFI work and surface pathways for research, curriculum, projects, and institutional collaboration while strengthening your network.

02— Campus outreach

Represent RFI through class visits, student organizations, campus events, one-on-one conversations, and personalized communication grounded in curiosity and knowledge exchange.

This is relationship-building with purpose: creating the campus connections that move regenerative knowledge, research, and action forward.

03— Student Community & LEADERSHIP

Convene an interdisciplinary group of students to learn regenerative and technical skills through a community-centered, hands-on travel experience. RFI programs have long term socio-ecological impact in Ecuador, and create lasting communities at universities across the US.

One role. Three program timelines:

Winter program

Begin at the start of fall term, build awareness quickly, and concentrate relationship-building and student commitments before winter departure.

Spring program

Build your campus and student network during fall, maintain warm relationships through winter, then complete a focused campaign in early spring.

Summer session

Establish awareness and early relationships in fall, maintain interest through winter, and run a second major outreach and commitment campaign in the spring.

RFI provides the detailed outreach calendar, activity expectations, and program-specific deadlines during onboarding.
